New Video Upload - Installing an Anode

Here is the YouTube link: https://youtu.be/wUlLxM8U0Ww

We have six hull anodes and one propeller shaft anode on the Gem. The anodes are a sacrificial piece of metal that protects our aluminum hull from electrolysis damage. The old anodes were attached with bolts that had nuts and lock washers. Inevitably, a lock washer or nut would be dropped during the installation and lost in the mud under the boat!

Replacing the old anodes while scuba diving required holding the anode, a bolt, nut, washer, and two wrenches all at the same time...in cold, dark, Alaska water. As the video shows, this design allows the anodes to be replaced using one wrench and installing the anode with the bolts already attached. It's way easier now!
